Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a laboratory research activity but is gradually becoming an essential element of the future society. Applications are multiple in all sectors of society such as health, transport, security, education, industry, etc. and the city has become a privileged field of applications for Artificial Intelligence algorithms, to become a Smart City. In this future digital world of algorithms, where Human must live with AI, number of questions are still open: What are the future technological and digital challenges? What are the challenges for Human-AI relationships? These topics will be addressed by the speakers of this conference.
As a part of the Voilah! France Singapore Festival, the Embassy of France will organize with CNRS@Create and Atos an innovation cercle dedicated to artificial intelligence and smart cities: digital and societal challenges. This event will be held online on Wednesday 18 November 2020, from 3 to 5pm.
At this occasion we will welcome four specialists:
- Francisco Chinesta, Professor of computational physics at ENSAM Institute of Technology and researcher at the PIMM Lab, CNRS research unit.
- Jennifer Ang Mei Sze, Associate Professor and Director of the Centre for University Core at SUSS.
- Purswani Purshottam, Chief Technology Officer for Atos APAC.
- Yeong Zee Kin, Deputy Commissioner at Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
This innovation circle will be moderated by Dominique BAILLARGEAT, Scientific Executive Director of CNRS@CREATE Ltd.
